Repeal It or Feel It is a grassroots movement to preserve our 4th Amendment rights against arbitrary and discriminatory enforcement of the various State helmet laws. Even though States can have a helmet law, this does not mean that our rights against unreasonable search and seizure can be violated by law enforcement and the courts. Both law enforcement and district attorneys are required by law to have “probable cause” to cite and prosecute riders for their choice of helmet. Our remedies for constitutional violations are money damages and injunctive relief. Using a class action lawsuit, we are pursuing our remedies against our county and its cities. Perhaps when it starts costing them money, the legislature will discover that the stupid helmet law is costing much more than it is worth. Check out our Motorcycle Roadblock Powerpoint.
